Back to School for GrownUps

Not this coming week, but the week after, is our Reading Week. You know…the week off when you get to get your damn psychology paper finished and your reading caught up and start on other papers, and hang out with friends and sleep in your own bed and….

Or not.

In order to get in enough hours to be given a certificate in Teaching & Training Adults (Being a TA 101) …I need to attend a workshop on the Wednesday.

And just now got an email re: yet another workshop - this one is 2 days - Monday & Tuesday. Attendance is not required - but it is highly recommended. The topic of the workshop is accessing research funds, which is a very good thing for anyone in academia.

Oh well - at least I will only have to drive once that week, not twice as in normal weeks. And no 12 hour days - can get the reading and papers done in the evenings, and hang out with friends and sleep in my own bed from Wednesday on.

Still pouting.

But it will be useful. Someday. I hope.
