And so begins another semester…
Off to a great start… no one thought to tell me that classes didn’t start until tomorrow …so all of my stress and fussing last night was basically a waste of time… well, not a total waste, since I did get organized and write my syllabus and so on ..but I could have done it today without the stress! Oh well.
So I start teaching tomorrow…and still with my darn cast on :( That was NOT the plan ..the plan was to get it taken off today - but the doc I saw wouldn’t co-operate. Doesn’t look so great on the x-ray, apparently. Poop! Oh well … got an appointment at the fracture clinic next week … will hope that THEY will take it off… at least long enough so that I can scratch!
My class goes until 11 and then we have the 2.5 hour drive up to Peterborough - need to be there for 2 p.m. for my class… and then we’ll do the motel thing for a couple of days … not sure if we’re coming home Thursday (and driving back Friday) or if we’ll just stay over. Whatever ~ the boss~ decides, I guess.
I am NOT liking the needing a driver thing AT ALL… it is going to be a very, very long semester…and I’ll be surprised if I make it through, actually…. he’s already pretty damn grumpy about it. SAYS he doesn’t mind…but….
Oh well… all I can do is try.

Hey flit - I can relate to the not wanting to be in the situation where you need a driver — but at least you *do* have a driver, otherwise this semester (its start, anyway) would be quite the challenge for ya! All the best with the removal of your cast!!
